This electric tarp system reliably covers and protects payloads on dump bodies. It features a slim underbody mount that keeps the pivoting unit protected and out of the way. It offers fingertip electric controls for ease of operation and is constructed with sturdy weather and corrosion-resistant aluminum components. The telescoping tarp arms utilize a single underbody-mounted spring to maintain tension. An optional aluminum wind deflector protects the tarp from wind and weather, and an optional extruded aluminum tension bow keeps the tarp from flapping in transit. The gear motor has a bronze alloy gear for long life, protected by a weatherproof enclosure with a chrome cover. Tarps are sold separately.
