The Z Automotive Tazer Mini Programmer is an essential tool for owners of the 2018+ Jeep Wrangler JL and Jeep Gladiator, supporting all engine and transmission variations, including export models. This programmer offers a wide array of customizable settings and live functions to tailor your vehicle's performance and features to your specific needs and modifications. Installation is a simple plug-in process, requiring you to unplug the SGW module and connect the Tazer JL Mini in its place, typically located above the OBD2 Diagnostic connector. For easier removal and reinstallation, an SGW Extension Cable can be added. All features are accessed via the vehicle's dash display by navigating through menus using the steering wheel buttons. The Tazer JL Mini provides a comprehensive list of vehicle settings accessible with the engine OFF and ignition in the “RUN” position. These settings can accommodate upgrades such as changing tire size, gear ratios, and more, and will remain active even after the Tazer JL Mini is unplugged. Additionally, it offers numerous live functions that operate while the Tazer JL Mini is connected, including light shows, real-time data displays, and diagnostic capabilities like reading and clearing DTCs. Key features include the ability to adjust tire size and gear ratios (with a note on 4XE models and specific gear ratio limitations for 2022 and earlier), enable/disable TPMS, backup cameras, cargo camera input, and various lighting options. The device also supports advanced functions like disabling the electronic sway bar, enabling trailer brake controllers, and declaring the presence of a Drive Train Control Module. A PIN Lock feature adds an extra layer of security, requiring a specific button sequence to be entered before the vehicle can be driven. It is important to disable the PIN Lock before going through a carwash or handing over the vehicle. The product is non-returnable.
