The Lucas Oil TB Zinc-Plus is a 16-ounce engine break-in oil additive formulated with ZDDP to specifically protect camshafts, lifters, and valve train components during the critical break-in period of high-performance engines. Its exclusive blend of extreme pressure additives ensures enhanced protection in any engine, whether using conventional or synthetic motor oil. This additive is particularly beneficial for engines with flat tappet camshafts, providing essential anti-wear protection during break-in or as a regular additive to any motor oil to prevent premature wear. For optimal results, it is recommended to add one bottle of Lucas TB Zinc-Plus with every engine rebuild or oil change to boost the zinc content of the motor oil. Dyno testing has shown that its use leads to a more efficient break-in, reducing the engine run-in time required before race day.
