TCB Tubular Transmission Crossmember

The Stifflers TCB-M02 transmission crossmember is a high-strength, tubular upgrade designed for 1982-1993 Ford Mustangs. By replacing the bulky OEM crossmember with a precision-engineered single-tube design, this unit increases chassis stiffness and reduces overall vehicle weight. The component is specifically compatible with a wide range of popular transmission swaps, including T-45, T-56, T-56 Magnum, T-56 (XL), TR-3650, and TH-400 models. Installation is simplified by using the existing factory-located 4.5-inch wide body mounts, ensuring a bolt-in fitment without the need for chassis modification or relocation. Additionally, the tubular geometry provides more clearance for aftermarket exhaust systems compared to stock stamped-steel units. The TCB-M02 comes standard with polyurethane bushings to dampen drivetrain vibrations. For dedicated racing applications where maximum rigidity is required, the unit can be further upgraded by replacing the included bushings with solid mounting options.
