TCU Software AL552 ZF8 Transmission

The 034Motorsport TCU Software Upgrade provides enhanced performance and drivability for B9/B9.5 Audi S4, S5, and SQ5 models featuring the AL552 8-speed ZF8 transmission. This software can be flashed directly via your vehicle’s OBD-II port, offering advanced Stage 2 and Stage 3 calibrations. Stage 2 software is engineered to complement Stage 1 and Stage 2 Performance ECU Software, optimizing the transmission's operation for improved acceleration without compromising comfort or reliability. For those with hybrid turbochargers and Dynamic+ Stage 3 ECU Software, the Stage 3 TCU Software offers further enhancements. All Dynamic+ tunes are now flashable from anywhere using the 034SPI (Smartphone Interface) Mobile Flashing application, compatible with iOS, Android, and Apple Silicon Macs. The app allows for flashing, fuel map changes, live data display configuration, data log submission, and diagnostic tools like DTC/CEL code read/clear. This functionality requires a Dynamic+ ECU or TCU tune and a compatible R4 Dynamic+ End User Flashing Dongle. The software provides several performance benefits, including optimized shift points in Sport Mode for maximum acceleration, the disabling of kickdown switches in Manual Mode, and dramatically decreased shift times with increased shift pressures in Sport Mode for quicker acceleration. Additionally, torque management is improved to ensure safety systems remain intact. It's important to note that 2022+ B9.5 S4/S5/SQ5 models, along with 4M.5 Q7 and 4M8 Q8 3.0T vehicles, have TCU flashing protections (401 bootloader). To enable OBD flashing for these models, the Bootloader Unlock Harness (BLU) must be purchased separately at checkout. This harness is a one-time use unlock for OBD flashing via 034SPI and requires ownership of a 034Motorsport TCU tune. This product is sold for racing use and is not legal for use on emissions-controlled highway or street vehicles.
