This turbo is capable of supporting over 250+ WHP, offering a good balance of low-end spool and high-end airflow.

The Bad News Racing TD025S Turbocharger is engineered as a direct replacement for the factory turbocharger on 2016+ Gen 2 Cruze models equipped with the LE2 1.4T and LFV 1.5T engines. This unit utilizes a significantly larger custom-made billet extended tip compressor wheel and an increased size turbine wheel to enhance performance capabilities. It is designed to provide excellent low-end spool, mimicking the driving characteristics of a stock turbo, while offering substantial airflow headroom to support over 250+ WHP. This turbocharger is a 100% direct swap installation. It is important to note that the stock bypass valve on this turbo is not compatible with the HPRV system. However, this can be resolved by replacing the stock bypass valve with a genuine GM valve, which will then ensure compatibility with the HPRV. BNR recommends using BNR Tuning for optimal results, as other tuning solutions may not be compatible or yield the same performance gains. Some users may experience a flute or screeching noise at part throttle, which can be more pronounced with aftermarket intakes, though certain bypass valves may help dampen this sound.
