The Bad News Racing BNR TD025X is a race-focused turbocharger designed for the LE2 1.4T and LFV 1.5T engines. It features a larger, custom-made billet extended tip Red Anodized compressor wheel and a larger turbine wheel. This turbo is VSR balanced to 200,000 RPM and is made from brand new Mitsubishi sourced cores.

The Bad News Racing BNR TD025X Race Turbocharger is engineered for enthusiasts seeking the highest possible power gains. This turbocharger is designed as a 100% direct swap for the factory unit on LE2 1.4T and LFV 1.5T engines, utilizing a significantly larger custom-made billet extended tip RED ANODIZED compressor wheel and a larger turbine wheel. It is VSR Balanced to 200,000RPM, with balancing sheets provided. This race-oriented version of the TD025 upgrade line supports over 300+WHP and has shown initial testing results of flowing over 37 lb/min of air, translating to approximately 350-375HP on customer vehicles. The turbo comes standard with a ported and polished finish. Unlike competitors, Bad News Racing uses brand new, Mitsubishi-sourced cores for superior quality and reliability. The BNR TD025X Race Turbocharger comes with a full 12-month unlimited mileage warranty covering defects in parts or workmanship. Any warranty repair requires inspection by BNR or an approved facility; disassembly by unauthorized parties will void the warranty. BNR offers repair or replacement at their discretion. Options are available to add pre-installed BNR HPRV and Wastegate actuators, bypass valves, and boost controllers for an additional cost, which can be installed and pre-loaded by BNR at a discount. Note that other tuning solutions may not be compatible or achieve the same results as BNR Tuning. Turbos are made to order, with an estimated delivery time of 4 weeks.
