The MHI 49477-02005 is a brand-new, genuine MHI TD04LR6 turbocharger, identical to the part sold by dealerships. This water-cooled unit is a direct-fit OEM replacement, ensuring compatibility and quality. This turbocharger is engineered for specific BMW models including the X1 (E84), X3 (F25), Z4 (E89), 3 Series (F30/F35/F80), and 5 Series (F10/F11/F18). It is designed for use with the N20B20A and N20B20B engines, with power outputs ranging from 135kW to 180kW, and also fits models with the DW12C engine. The original equipment (OE) numbers associated with this turbo include 7588938, 11657588938, and 11657635803, among others. The CHRA part number is 49477-09000, with specific part numbers for the turbine housing (49477-15750), compressor housing (49477-55580), and actuator (49477-19812). It is crucial to verify fitment using the part number from your old turbocharger, as compatibility features may not be fully reliable. The turbo comes with a 2-year warranty against manufacturer defects. The warranty does not cover damage resulting from improper installation, misuse, neglect, unauthorized disassembly, or external physical damage.
