TD05H-16G Turbocharger

The Kinugawa Turbo TD05H-16G is a direct bolt-on turbocharger engineered for enhanced performance in Mitsubishi 4G63T engines. It is compatible with various models including the Lancer EVO 1-3, Galant VR-4, DSM 1G/2G, Eagle Talon, and Plymouth Laser. This turbocharger is designed to provide a balance of low-end torque and top-end speed through its specialized compressor wheel configuration, featuring 6+6 blades for responsiveness and 11+0 blades for higher RPM power. The compressor wheel dimensions are 48.3 / 68.0 mm, while the turbine wheel measures 56.0 / 49.2 mm, with options for STD, STS, and STS55 designs. The unit features a 7cm² nozzle area within a Mitsubishi single scroll turbine housing and a 2-bolt outlet on the compressor housing, with a stock 2.5″ inlet. For reliability and performance, it incorporates a 360-degree journal bearing system with a performance thrust bearing kit, and an internal wastegate with a 34mm flapper. Cooling is managed through both oil and water lines. The default actuator pressure is set at 1.0 bar / 14.7 Psi, but custom options are available, including 0.3, 0.5, 0.8, 1.2, 1.5, 1.7, or 2.0 bar actuators, which can be selected by contacting the provider. The turbocharger comes as a brand new unit and includes a comprehensive installation kit with oil feed and return lines, water feed and return lines, turbine inlet/outlet gaskets, and a balance report with an anti-counterfeit tag. It is backed by a 1-year warranty from Kinugawa Turbo Systems. It's important to note that the maximum power stated for this turbocharger is based on the compressor map's choke flow and represents potential flywheel power. Actual performance will depend on vehicle modifications and tuning.
