The Kinugawa TD05H-20G Turbocharger is a performance-oriented upgrade engineered to replace tired factory units in the 2002-2014 Subaru WRX, 2004-2016 Subaru WRX STI, and 2004-2007 Subaru Forester. It is not a direct bolt-on product, as the 3-inch compressor inlet requires modification to existing intake piping for proper installation. The unit utilizes a journal bearing system with a 360-degree thrust bearing, oil and water cooling, and a high-nickel alloy turbine housing for thermal resistance. Technical specifications include a 52.3/68 mm compressor wheel, a 56.0/49.2 mm turbine wheel, and a 1.0 bar (14.7 psi) default actuator pressure. The kit includes essential installation hardware such as oil feed and return lines, water coolant lines, gaskets, and studs. Performance potential is determined by vehicle-specific modifications and custom tuning; calibration is required following installation to ensure reliability and optimal power delivery. The product comes balanced from the factory with a provided report and is covered by a 1-year manufacturer warranty.
