The unit includes an internal wastegate with an actuator. This turbocharger is classified as a small frame unit with an intended application for medium power gains. It is engineered to suit engine sizes from 1.6 to 3.0 liters, with an expected power output ranging from 150 to 380 horsepower (112 to 283 kW). Notable features include its counter-rotational design, meaning it spins counter-clockwise, and a turbine wheel that is partially constructed from titanium for improved responsiveness and longevity. Designed with specific fitment in mind, this turbocharger is factory installed on the Mitsubishi Lancer Evo 7 Rs models equipped with the 4G63 engine.
