TD06-20G Twin Scroll Turbocharger, 8cm² Housing

The Tomioka Racing TD06-20G Twin Scroll turbocharger offers a significant upgrade for the Subaru Legacy GT, providing a direct bolt-on replacement for vehicles equipped with the factory VF36/VF37 twin scroll setup. This turbocharger is capable of supporting up to 500 horsepower, making it suitable for both track and street applications. Its specifications include a 51mm compressor inlet, 58mm compressor exducer, 68mm turbine inlet, and a 56mm turbine exducer, all housed within an 8 cm² turbine housing. It comes pre-equipped with a 1 bar / 14.7 psi wastegate actuator, and customers can choose between 1.1 bar or 1.3 bar actuator springs based on their boost targets. A billet wastegate actuator is included in current production kits. However, professional installation is recommended. It is crucial to note that the TR twin scroll turbine housing flange is designed specifically for VF36/VF37 applications and differs from the VF38; therefore, this turbocharger does not fit VF38 applications. Additionally, an existing twin scroll header and downpipe are required for installation. For certain applications (DCBB turbos), a Turbosmart TS-0811-0012 OPR V2 Turbo Oil Pressure Regulator is recommended to ensure optimal oil pressure at the bearing. This turbocharger is specifically compatible with the 2004-2009 Subaru Legacy GT models equipped with the EJ255 engine and requiring the factory VF36/VF37 twin scroll setup.
