TD06S L2-20RX Turbocharger

The GReddy TD06S L2-20RX turbocharger is engineered for enhanced performance and reliability. It features a newly designed L2-20RX compressor wheel crafted from a high-strength aluminum billet, offering superior high-temperature resistance. This innovative design allows for a thinner, lighter wheel with increased blade area, resulting in greater air volume and improved throttle response, particularly in the low to medium speed ranges. Compared to previous G-type impellers, this turbocharger delivers a 9 to 12% increase in output within the mid-to-high speed range while maintaining excellent low-end response. The unit is equipped with a large floating journal bearing, a hydrodynamic bearing system that minimizes resistance during operation once engine oil pressure is established and the oil is warmed. This system eliminates metal-to-metal contact and does not require water cooling, ensuring optimal performance and durability in demanding conditions. Installation of a blow-off valve is recommended alongside this turbocharger for optimal performance.
