The Boost Lab TD06SL2-54X Turbocharger is specifically designed as a premier OEM upgrade for the 2015-2021 Subaru WRX FA20 platform, celebrated for its rapid spool and consistent power delivery suitable for both stock and enhanced engines. This unit is engineered to deliver up to 500 horsepower, striking an ideal balance between significant performance gains and retaining everyday drivability. Key features include Boost Lab's exclusive 11-blade 54X billet compressor wheel, measuring 54mm at the inducer and 71.4mm at the exducer, which is precision-milled from 2618 billet aluminum to maximize airflow and efficiency. Complementing this is a performance TD06SL2 turbine wheel optimized for top-end power, housed within a 10.5cm² turbine housing to support high exhaust flow and boost control at higher RPMs. A 1 Bar wastegate actuator ensures accurate boost management for consistent power output. This turbocharger is meticulously assembled in Tampa, FL, and undergoes critical VSR (Vibration Sorting Rig) balancing to minimize vibration, reduce noise, and extend bearing life, ensuring reliable operation. The package includes a complete installation kit with all necessary gaskets, downpipe studs, and nuts for a straightforward setup. For those seeking even higher power outputs, Boost Lab offers the BL58XR turbocharger, capable of up to 770HP.
