Overview

The SUSTDI “OG” Gen2 EGR Cooler Delete Kit is designed for 3.0 TDI Gen2 engines from 2013-2016. This kit features billet and laser-cut parts made in the USA from 6061 and 304 stainless steel.

It includes German-made OEM constant tension clamps and top-tier quality glass-filled nylon elbows that are preassembled on the hose. As of January 1st, 2025, all kits will come with EGR block-off plates.

The SUSTDI “OG” Gen2 EGR Cooler Delete Kit is engineered for 3.0 TDI Gen2 engines produced between 2013 and 2016, including models like the Audi Q5/A6/A7 TDI (CPNB). This kit aims to improve performance by removing the EGR cooler. The elbows are made from top-tier quality glass-filled nylon and are preassembled onto the hose, with the expectation that they will outlast the vehicle. Recent improvements, implemented in August 2023, enhance coolant routing to position the sensor parallel to the engine's axis, improving clearance with the intake manifold. This modification also eliminates the need to trim the harness for the sensor plug, reducing strain on the wires. The kit requires the reuse of the stock hose from the EGR cooler to the thermostat/oil filter housing, as it is specifically molded for proper clearance. If the stock hose is in good condition, it can be reused. The entire coolant loop can also be serviced easily in the future without removing the kit. Starting January 1st, 2025, all kits will include EGR block-off plates. An install guide is in progress, with a relevant excerpt from the service manual available.
