Designed to mount directly to the transmission Floor, it ensures a secure, precise installation. The shifter is designed with safety features to help prevent accidental gear engagement and unintended vehicle movement. A positive lock-out mechanism in Park and Neutral ensures that the shifter cannot be moved into Reverse or Park from Neutral or a forward gear unless the push button on the knob is deliberately pressed. Additionally, a properly wired and adjusted neutral safety switch prevents the vehicle from starting in any gear other than Park or Neutral, adding an extra layer of protection during ignition.
