The Jim Wolf Technology AQR25-SPRNG is a performance valve spring set designed to replace stock components in specific Nissan engines. This particular valve spring set is listed as fitting the GA16DE engine and serves as a replacement for part number AQR25-SPRRX, with a newer spring, AQR25-BHIVE, also available. It is also mentioned as a required component for certain camshaft applications on the QR25DE engine, such as the RZ1/RZ2 camshafts, which have a rev limit of 8,400 RPM. When used with camshafts like the ASER2-QRCRZ, it is crucial to note that this spring set is not compatible with 2007+ Sentra and Altima models. Furthermore, due to the larger lobes of some camshafts requiring these springs, cylinder head to lobe clearance must be checked and adjusted as necessary. Proper installation also requires checking for head and piston clearance and ensuring the special JWT valve springs are installed at no less than OEM installed height of 34.30mm. The cold lash should be set to .012", and a late DLC lifter and break-in oil are mandatory. Additionally, the engine should not be run below 2000 RPM for the first 20 minutes after installation.
