Tein 08-16 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X (CZ4A) Flex Z Coilovers

FLEX Z coilovers inherit the features and quality of STREET FLEX but are more affordable. They feature a full-length ride height adjustment system, allowing height adjustment without changing damper stroke length or spring preload, thus minimizing changes in ride quality. They have a 16-level damping force adjustment for customizing ride and handling. The kit includes vehicle-specific upper mounts (reinforced rubber or pillow ball) and lower brackets, all coated with a durable, corrosion-resistant TEIN green powder paint. The coilovers utilize a twin-tube shock absorber system, providing a supple ride on rough roads and stability at high speeds. They are compatible with the EDFC (Electronic Damping Force Controller) series for in-cockpit damping force control. Smooth ride height adjustment is facilitated by wrought aluminum spring seats, low-friction hard-resin thrust washers, and a ZT Coating on the shell cases for rust protection and lubricity. The springs are made of high-tensile steel (SAE9254) and cold-formed for excellent resistance to sagging, with a powder coating for durability and corrosion resistance. The coilovers use a specially formulated high-spec damper oil that maintains stable viscosity across temperatures and has superior anti-foaming characteristics.
