Tein EDFC5 Active Pro Controller Kit

The Tein EDFC5 is an advanced electronic damping control system that utilizes jerk-reactive adjustment, developed in collaboration with Prof. Dai Watanabe of Shibaura Institute of Technology. This system aims to provide a balance of sharp handling and comfortable ride by automatically adjusting damping force based on vehicle movement. It incorporates AI (learning function) to adapt to different driving situations and features quieter motor operation compared to previous EDFC models. The controller screen uses a VA panel for better visibility and offers 262K display color options. The system allows for wireless control, simplifying installation. It supports 16, 32, 64, or 96-level damping force adjustment and can control up to 8 motors for separate compression and rebound adjustment (with additional motor driver units). Other features include automatic brightness adjustment, two input ports for external signals, adjustable starting speed for G-actuated/jerk-reactive adjustments, one-dial operation, a triaxial accelerometer for flexible installation, two view angles, adjustable sound volume, a lock function, and self-diagnosis.
