Formulated with carefully selected base stocks and advanced additives, it incorporates oxidation and rust inhibitors, along with anti-foam agents, to ensure optimal performance and protection. This circulating oil is part of a nine-grade line, with eight grades conforming to the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) viscosity classification system. The ISO 150 grade is specifically designed to meet the demands of circulating systems where a specific viscosity is required. Key features include excellent demulsibility, allowing for easy water separation, and a high resistance to emulsification. This property is crucial for preventing water from recirculating with the oil in reservoirs. Furthermore, Mobil Teresstic ISO 150 offers well-balanced foam resistance and air release, which is essential given the trend towards shorter oil residence times in reservoirs. It is also formulated with rust inhibitors and passes industry-standard tests like ASTM D 665 (for distilled and salt water versions on grades 32-100) and the ASTM copper strip corrosion test, ensuring protection for copper and bronze components. The oil also exhibits excellent high-temperature stability and is recommended for use in mild duty turbines, hydraulic systems, circulating systems, gear cases, heat transfer systems, and reciprocating natural gas compressors.
