Constructed from Grade-A carbon fiber, this hood features a distinctive "Terminator" style and is finished with an ultra-clear, UV-protective polyurethane coating for a high-gloss, durable surface. VIS Racing employs a robust two-part construction, bonding the carbon fiber top layer with high-grade epoxy resin. This is complemented by a one-piece, smooth underside shell that enhances the hood's structural integrity. Further enhancing its construction, VIS Racing has implemented the Vacuum Infusion Process (V.I.P.) for many of its carbon parts, including this hood. This advanced manufacturing technique utilizes a single-mold vacuum to produce parts that are 10-20% lighter than conventional methods while simultaneously improving durability.
