The VIS Racing Terminator style hood is a custom body panel crafted from 100% ISO-certified, Grade-A carbon fiber material, specifically designed for the Hyundai Tiburon 2DR models from 2000-2002. This hood features a two-part construction, with a top layer of carbon fiber bonded with high-grade epoxy resin and finished with an ultra-clear, UV-protective polyurethane coating for a high gloss. The underside is a one-piece, smooth shell fused to the top layer for enhanced structural integrity, and the edges are hand-smoothed for a quality finish. VIS Racing has also implemented its Vacuum Infusion Process (V.I.P.) on many of its carbon parts, producing components that are 10-20% lighter and more durable than previous methods. This hood comes with a VIS badge of authenticity. Due to the nature of aftermarket hoods, hood pins are required. It is also recommended not to reuse the stock hood struts, shocks, dampers, or springs, as these may cause the hood to crack. These products are intended for off-road use only unless local laws dictate otherwise.
