This is complemented by an ultra-clear Poly Shield, which provides essential UV protection to maintain the glossy finish and prevent degradation over time. The underside shell is engineered as a single, smooth piece, significantly enhancing structural integrity and contributing to a clean, finished appearance. VIS Racing utilizes an innovative Vacuum Infusion Process (V.I.P.) in the manufacturing of this hood. Introduced in 2014, this advanced method results in parts that are 10-20% lighter than previous models without any compromise in strength or durability.
