The Holley Terminator X Max 6L80E Transmission Kit (558-499) allows for the integration of GM 6L80E and 6L90E transmissions into vehicles already equipped with a Terminator X Max ECU. This system communicates directly with the transmission's internal TCM via CAN protocol, offering a modern solution for controlling these 2007+ GM transmissions. Included in the kit is a Holley EFI OBDII Transmission Tuning Handheld, which serves as the primary interface for user adjustments. Through this handheld, you can modify crucial parameters such as shift points, tire size, and gear ratio. Additionally, the Terminator X V3 Software provides advanced tuning capabilities, enabling users to optimize torque management for desired shifting characteristics, control the transmission's secondary shift mode, and enable Tap Up/Down shifting functionality. The software offers detailed control over virtual torque management, virtual TPS tables for fine-tuning shift behavior irrespective of engine output, and DBW (Drive-by-Wire) and timing-based torque reduction tables for smooth gear changes. The handheld tuner also allows for reading and clearing TCM fault codes, further assisting in diagnostics and setup.
