TH 400 TRANS

The TCI Automotive 211095 Super StreetFighter TH400 Transmission is designed for Chevrolet engines from 1964-1991. It is a non-variable pitch, non-lock-up automatic transmission with a 9-inch tailshaft and large yoke. This transmission is suitable for normally aspirated vehicles with engines producing up to 875 horsepower. It features Red Eagle clutches, Kolene treated steel plates, Red Eagle-lined, extra-wide Powerbands, larger diameter servo assemblies, an improved lubrication system, new sprags/roller clutches (upgraded in certain models), enhanced hard parts, a chrome-plated TCI-logo transmission pan, increased thrust capacity, and higher line pressure for extra firm shifts and greater torque capacity with less slippage. The transmission is factory blueprinted, inspected, and dyno-tested. It has a manual/automatic valve body, allowing for either manual shifting or fully automatic operation. Speedometer drive and driven gears are not included.
