The Ford 354-180 is a standard thermostat engineered to meet OEM quality standards and safety requirements, making it suitable for demanding automotive cooling systems. It features a construction of high-grade stainless steel and copper, ensuring durability and reliable performance. Key specifications include an outlet inside diameter of 1.46 inches and an outlet outside diameter of 1.71 inches. The valve outside diameter is 0.80 inches, and it includes a jiggle pin weep hole. The thermostat opens at 180.0 degrees Fahrenheit (82.22 degrees Celsius) and is not MAP controlled. While a gasket or seal is required for installation, it is not included with this part. The thermostat itself measures 2.29 inches in height and has a bypass flange diameter of 1.38 inches. This thermostat is designed as an OE-style replacement, ensuring straightforward installation. It is 100% tested and calibrated for consistent performance right out of the box.
