This kit is designed to be the most durable thermostat housing available for the Mk4 24v VR6 and Mk4/Mk5/TT 3.2L VR6 engines, providing a "bulletproof" upgrade. The kit features a precision-machined cast aluminum thermostat housing and an aluminum cover, effectively eliminating all plastic parts from the thermostat housing assembly. It includes all necessary gaskets and new hardware to replace old or stripped components, ensuring a complete and reliable installation. It is important to note that OEM and some aftermarket 'crack pipes' may have a tab that requires removal for this housing to fit properly; Veltsport crack pipes do not have this tab. The housing is individually machined and cleaned of burrs and sharp edges. Your flange may differ from the photos shown.
