The Improved Racing EGM-132-T6 is a thermostatic oil cooler adapter designed for GM Gen V LT engines, specifically the C7 Corvette. The adapter is constructed from 6061-T6 billet aluminum with a black anodized finish.

The Improved Racing EGM-132-T6 is a thermostatic oil cooler adapter engineered for GM Gen V LT engines, with a specific application for the C7 Corvette. This adapter replaces the factory water-to-oil heat exchanger, which can be insufficient for track or performance driving. By incorporating a built-in 200°F thermostat, the EGM-132-T6 ensures that the oil reaches optimal operating temperature before engaging the oil cooler, thereby reducing engine wear and potential horsepower losses. Constructed from durable 6061-T6 billet aluminum and finished with a black MIL-A-8625 Type II anodized coating, this adapter is built to withstand demanding conditions. It features standard female -8AN O-ring boss ports, offering flexibility for connection to -8AN, -10AN, or -12AN oil lines. The adapter includes two IN and OUT ports, providing options for line routing, and comes with plugs for unused ports. Optional sensor adapter fittings can be installed for 1/8" NPT or M12x1.5 sensors, or the extra ports can be utilized for turbo oil feed lines or an oil accumulator. The adapter retains the stock oil filter location and ensures that the oil exiting the adapter is filtered. Detailed installation instructions are included, along with a gasket (GM part # 12623359) and mounting screws. Note that a factory oil cooler delete kit is required for installation on 2015-2019 Chevrolet Corvettes (C7).
