This adapter plate features a thermostatic port that is set to bypass the oil cooler until the oil reaches an operating temperature of 180 degrees Fahrenheit, which is beneficial for engines not used in dedicated race applications. It utilizes -10 AN fittings that are keyed with pins to prevent them from coming loose during installation or removal of cooler lines. Additionally, two auxiliary 1/8 NPT ports are provided for the connection of non-filtered oil sensors. The plate is finished in anodized black for durability and appearance. It is designed to fit all K series engines, but will not fit K20C-Series blocks. It can be fitted to K24Z-Series blocks, provided an oil filter relocation kit is used.
