ThreeBond RTV-Silicone Liquid Gasket

The Subaru Grey ThreeBond/FujiBond TB1217H is a specialized RTV-Silicone liquid gasket, now the successor to Subaru's orange/red Fuji Bond. It cures at room temperature to form a highly elastic, rubber-like gasket that precisely adapts to flange surfaces, ensuring a reliable seal. Engineered for demanding automotive applications, the TB1217H excels in chemical resistance, particularly against high-grade engine oils (type SJ). It provides excellent initial pressure resistance and robust mechanical properties, making it suitable for critical sealing tasks. Its performance is further enhanced by its ability to maintain elasticity across an impressive temperature range, from -60°C to 200°C, with a momentary tolerance up to 250°C. This makes it ideal for use as an engine sealant on oil pans, chain cases, case halves, and oil pumps. Its formulation ensures good adhesion in powertrain and small engine applications, allowing for immediate service after application. The material's high elongation characteristic contributes to its durability and effectiveness in sealing complex flange geometries.
