Throttle Body Adapter Kit

The Flyin' Miata throttle body adapter kit simplifies the process of installing a 1.8 engine into a 1.6 Miata chassis, allowing you to retain the original 1.6 throttle body and ECU. This billet aluminum adapter ensures compatibility with 1994-97 or 1999-05 intake manifolds. The adapter's thickness provides sufficient clearance for all components, eliminating the need to modify the throttle body. Installation involves drilling and tapping two holes into your manifold to mount the adapter. The kit includes all necessary fasteners for a straightforward installation. Please note that this adapter will move the throttle body forward approximately 11/16" (17mm), and may require modifications to your existing intake system due to the 1.8 engine's increased length. Additionally, when using an NB intake manifold and a 1.6 automatic TPS, interference with the valve cover may occur, requiring further modification to resolve. This product fits 1990-1993 Mazda Miata models and comes with a 1-year warranty. It cannot be shipped to California due to emissions restrictions.
