The MMX throttle body adapter kit allows for the installation of an 80mm HEMI V8 throttle body onto a Pentastar V6 intake manifold. This kit removes airflow bottlenecks to improve intake efficiency for the V6 engine.

The package includes a throttle body adapter, mounting hardware, and a wire adapter harness. An 80mm throttle body and gasket are available as optional additions.

The MMX throttle body adapter kit facilitates the upgrade to a larger 80mm HEMI V8 throttle body on the Pentastar V6 intake manifold. By replacing the stock throttle body with this larger unit, the system removes intake bottlenecks, allowing the engine to receive increased airflow when paired with an aftermarket cold air intake. Each kit includes the necessary throttle body adapter, mounting hardware, and a wire adapter harness. Please note that tuning may be required for some applications to ensure proper engine operation following the installation. Users should be aware that their existing cold air intake will most likely require a new adapter boot to accommodate the larger 80mm throttle body diameter. Additionally, MMX offers an optional 80mm throttle body and gasket for those who do not have their own components. Verify all local and state emissions laws before purchasing and installing this performance modification.
