Throttle Body Inlet System

The APR Throttle Body Inlet System is engineered to replace the factory charge pipe system, extending from the intercooler outlet directly to the throttle body on 2017-2021 Audi RS3 and TTRS models equipped with the 2.5T EA855 Evo engine. This upgrade is designed to provide a significant improvement in airflow, boasting approximately 34% more flow than the stock system. This is achieved through an increased cross-sectional area and a smoother, less restrictive bend radius leading to the throttle body. The system is constructed from a full-length oversized cast aluminum pipe and a multi-ply, wire-reinforced silicone intercooler outlet hose with EZ-flow stepped lips, measuring approximately 72mm at the hose versus the stock 64mm. Key features include the elimination of two potential boost leak points thanks to its single cast design. The billet aluminum throttle body adapter includes a convenient boost and vacuum reference point, suitable for gauges or other accessories. The kit is comprehensive, including new intake manifold and throttle body gaskets, O-rings, and one-time use bolts, which are common sources of leaks often overlooked. Despite its larger size, the complete system adds only a negligible 2.4 lbs over the stock component. Please note that 2019 and newer model year vehicles require the MS100198-A adapter unless the vehicle is already equipped with APR's full intake system featuring the CI100038-G diverter valve adapter.
