The Kies Motorsports Charge Pipe & Boost Pipe Combo replaces the factory plastic or rubber charge and boost pipes, which are known weak points on BMW N55 engines, especially when increasing boost levels. Failure of these OEM components can lead to significant performance reduction, limp mode, or even complete engine shutdown, and in rare cases, can cause damage to the throttle body. Constructed from upgraded aluminum piping with a premium gloss black powder coating, this kit offers enhanced strength and durability. It features multiple 1/8" NPT fittings, providing versatility for boost taps or Water-Methanol Injection systems. The kit includes a two-piece replacement charge pipe for easier installation, a replacement boost pipe, a silicone coupler, and all necessary o-rings, couplers, and hose clamps. This charge pipe and boost pipe combo is designed to fit various BMW F2X and F3X models equipped with the N55 engine, including specific models of the 1, 2, 3, and 4 Series. A note indicates potential mounting issues with 7.5-inch aftermarket front mount intercoolers. The product comes with a 5-year weld warranty for peace of mind.
