The AIRAID Throttle Body Spacer, part number 200-512-1, is engineered to improve off-idle torque within the 800 to 3,000 rpm range. Its patented Helix Bore design spins the incoming air charge as it passes through the spacer. This effect increases air velocity, leading to better atomization of the air/fuel mixture before it enters the combustion chamber. The enhanced air/fuel mixture results in more part-throttle torque and improved mid-range power delivery. This spacer is constructed from high-grade aluminum and is a true bolt-on upgrade that typically installs in under an hour using common hand tools. No drilling, cutting, or modifications are required for installation. It is also legal for use in all 50 states. This throttle body spacer is designed to fit a wide range of Cadillac, Chevrolet, GMC, Pontiac, and Hummer vehicles from 1999 to 2007. Specific fitments include various Chevrolet Silverado, Tahoe, and GMC Sierra models with 4.8L, 5.3L, and 6.0L engines. It is important to verify fitment for your specific vehicle.
