Throttle Body to Manifold Adapter

The Soler Engineering SE8223-87-80 Adapter is a precision-machined component designed to facilitate the integration of larger throttle bodies onto specific GM engines. It allows for the installation of an 87mm or Soler Performance 91mm throttle body onto an L83/L84 80mm manifold or an aftermarket supercharger. Its self-centering OEM screw pattern design ensures concentricity between the throttle body, adapter, and manifold/supercharger bores. The adapter features an efficient tapered transition, military/aerospace sealing gland design, and a low compression set silicone seal for durability and reliable performance. It also clocks the throttle body 10 degrees counter-clockwise to potentially avoid blade interference. The SE8223-87-80 is ideal for 5.3L GM trucks and SUVs (3rd and 4th Gen) equipped with the L83/L84 V8 engine. It unlocks the full benefit of larger throttle bodies, providing improved throttle response and completing performance upgrades for both naturally aspirated and boosted applications. This adapter does not require tuning for installation, though tuning may further optimize performance. Compatibility includes Chevrolet Silverado 1500 (2014-2025), GMC Sierra 1500 (2014-2025), Chevrolet Tahoe/Suburban (2015-2025), and GMC Yukon (2015-2025) models with the 5.3L L83/L84 engine. It is also compatible with any 80mm L83/L84-based aftermarket supercharger inlet. The adapter includes the O-ring seal and all required hardware for installation.
