The Dorman 977-793 Electronic Throttle Body is an upgraded design featuring Dorman Sensor Shield technology, a proprietary butterfly shaft seal to prevent moisture and oil intrusion, which commonly causes original equipment throttle body failures. It is constructed from 100% new case aluminum and is rigorously tested to comply with FMVSS standards and has been endurance-proven with over 1 million cycle tests.
