Unlike older vehicles with a direct cable connection, newer cars utilize electronics that can introduce a lag between your initial pedal input and the throttle body's response. Pedal Commander directly addresses this by interfacing with the Engine Control Unit (ECU) at the Pedal Position Sensors. It compiles the PPS information and slightly advances it before sending it to the ECU. This process allows certain engine computer checks to be bypassed, resulting in a significantly quicker throttle response and a more immediate acceleration. The controller features four distinct modes: ECO, City, Sport, and Sport+. Each mode offers 8 sensitivity levels, providing a total of 36 customizable parameters to tailor the pedal's responsiveness to your specific driving style and conditions. This device is controlled either through the unit itself or via a smartphone application through Bluetooth connectivity. Installation is a straightforward plug-and-play process, typically taking about 15 minutes, and the manufacturer states it will not void your vehicle's warranty. The Pedal Commander comes with a 2-year warranty.
