The Pedal Commander throttle response controller is an innovative upgrade for vehicles equipped with electronic throttle control, addressing the common issue of throttle lag. Unlike older cable-driven systems, modern electronic throttles can feel sluggish. This device directly connects to your vehicle's gas pedal with an OEM-style harness, bypassing the factory delay and providing instant acceleration. With its Bluetooth connectivity, the Pedal Commander can be controlled via a smartphone app, offering a user-friendly interface to access its features. The controller provides four distinct modes (Eco, City, Sport, Sport+) and each mode can be further customized with 8 sensitivity levels, totaling 36 unique settings. Installation is designed to be straightforward and plug-and-play, typically taking about 15 minutes. The Pedal Commander does not alter the vehicle's ECU, ensuring it is untraceable and does not affect the factory warranty. It is explicitly stated that the Pedal Commander does NOT increase horsepower or torque; its sole function is to optimize throttle response for quicker engine reaction. This product is compatible with the Toyota Prius Prime, including submodels Advanced, LE, Limited, Plus, Premium, and XLE, for model years 2017-2022. It is also noted as being 50-State Emissions Legal.
