The Pedal Commander PC20-HND-ACC-02 is a throttle response controller engineered to eliminate the delay often found in modern electronic throttle control (ETC) systems. Unlike older cable-driven throttles, ETC systems can introduce lag, making acceleration feel less responsive. This Pedal Commander unit bypasses that lag, providing instant throttle response and a more connected driving experience. With four customizable modes—ECO, City, Sport, and Sport+—and eight sensitivity levels within each, drivers can fine-tune their vehicle's throttle response to match driving conditions and personal preferences. City mode provides a more traditional, cable-like response. Installation is straightforward, utilizing a plug-and-play design that connects directly to the vehicle's accelerator pedal harness without requiring wire cutting, splicing, or permanent modifications. This ensures that the vehicle's ECU remains untouched and untraceable, preserving the factory warranty. The unit also features Bluetooth connectivity, allowing for control and customization via a dedicated smartphone application, which also provides access to updates and new user programs. This Pedal Commander is specifically compatible with the 2008-2012 Honda Accord and works perfectly with its submodels, including EX, EX-L, LX, LX-P, LX-S, and SE. It does not increase horsepower or torque but optimizes the existing power delivery for quicker access to the engine's true performance.
