The Kaoko KAW170 motorcycle cruise control and throttle stabilizer offers a mechanical solution to reduce rider fatigue and enhance throttle control. By applying adjustable friction to the throttle sleeve beneath the grip, it allows riders to dynamically set and maintain any throttle position, eliminating the need for constant manual throttle input. This feature is particularly useful for long-distance riding and for stabilizing the throttle on uneven off-road surfaces, preventing unintended acceleration. It features a simple and intuitive operation, even with gloves on. The KAW170 is specifically designed to mount onto OEM bar-end weights with a 30mm inner diameter. Installation involves removing the original bar weight and retaining the M8 screw for fitting the Kaoko unit. This Kaoko cruise control is compatible with a wide range of Kawasaki models, including the Z1000 (2010-2017), ZX-6 (1991-1996), ZX-7 (1991-1996), ZX-6R (2009-2019), Z300 (2015-2018), ZR 1000E Naked (2013), Ninja 250 (2008-2018), Ninja 300 (2016-2023), ZX-9R (1994-1997), ZH2 (2020), and Ninja 500R (2007). The fitment details specify that these models must have stock 30mm diameter bar-end weights.
