It utilizes the factory charge pipe and stock o-ring seals for both the inlet and outlet connections, ensuring a seamless fit from the turbocharger to the throttle body. A key component is the COBB Thrust Tunnel, crafted from wrinkle black powder-coated aluminum, which attaches to the factory hood ducting to ensure maximum airflow is directed through the intercooler core. The intercooler features a 20" x 7" x 4" core and is a direct replacement for the OEM intercooler. Crucially, this intercooler does not require any ECU tuning changes. It is fully compatible with the factory Subaru calibration and can also be used with COBB Stage 1 Off-The-Shelf (OTS) maps, providing a straightforward performance upgrade.
