Thunder G4+ Engine Management System

The Link Thunder G4+ EMS represents the pinnacle of Link ECUs, engineered for high-end applications demanding peak performance, adaptability, and granular tuning control. This unit boasts an expansive set of inputs, outputs, and features, surpassing other models in the Link lineup. Key advancements include an integrated 3-axis accelerometer for enhanced data acquisition and dual onboard digital wideband lambda controllers, which provide superior accuracy and a streamlined setup compared to traditional analog input wideband devices. Further enhancing its capabilities, the Link Thunder ECU includes two fully programmable E-throttle controls, supporting features like gear shift throttle blipping and anti-lag for engines equipped with dual electronic throttle bodies. It also offers direct connection for two K-type thermocouple EGT sensors, eliminating the need for an additional interface box. The system provides a comprehensive suite of inputs, including 16 digital inputs (six high-speed differential for ABS sensors), 4 temperature inputs, 16 analog inputs, 2 trigger inputs, and 2 knock inputs, alongside 2 LSU 4.9 wideband lambda sensor inputs and 2 K-type thermocouple inputs. Output configurations are equally robust, featuring 8 Peak and Hold injection drives, 8 ignition drivers, and 18 auxiliary outputs. Unused fuel and ignition drives can be repurposed as additional auxiliary outputs. For communication, the ECU is equipped with 2 CAN bus connections and a serial (RS232) connection, plus a USB tuning connection. Optional extras such as sensors and looms are available to further customize the system to specific application needs.
