TiAL MVS 38mm External Wastegate

The CTS Turbo TiAL MVS wastegate is a compact 38mm external wastegate engineered for enhanced turbocharger control and performance. Its ultra-compact design stands only 3.7 inches tall, making it one of the most compact external wastegates on the market, ideal for tight engine bays. The wastegate boasts V-Band flanges for simplified installation, eliminating the need for difficult welding. It features three lower and two upper air ports, allowing for easy connection to pressure sources and boost controllers, with included plugs for unused ports. The actuator top is water-cooled via integrated -4 AN ports, utilizing a small amount of coolant to maintain lower temperatures during extreme conditions like road racing, without significantly impacting the overall cooling system. These water cooling ports are leak-tested from the factory and can be removed if not needed. Construction materials are chosen for durability and high-temperature resistance. The valve is made from a high-temp NiCrFe based alloy, and the valve housing is 347SS, offering longer product life. The actuator diaphragm is high-temperature silicone Nomex reinforced, and the actuator spring is 17-7 PH Stainless Steel, designed to maintain consistent pressure up to 900°F (483°C) and resist relaxing at high temperatures. The valve seat and bushing are made from Nitronic 60 Stainless Steel, and all hardware is stainless steel, with 304L mating weld flanges. Included with every TiAL MV-S wastegate are the MV-S assembly, two TiAL -4 AN removable water fittings, V-band clamp and flange for both inlet and outlet, two TiAL air fittings, plugs for unused air ports, and extra actuator springs. The actuator is finished in color anodized aluminum, available in Silver, Red, Blue, Purple, and Black.
