The Vaico tie rod assembly is a direct replacement part for your vehicle's steering system. When tie rod ends fail, they can cause slop in the steering wheel and audible noises from the steering system. Replacing worn tie rods provides a safer and more responsive driving experience.

The tie rods are critical for translating steering wheel input to your wheels, and their failure can lead to a loose steering wheel, knocking sounds, and potentially dangerous situations where the wheel path is compromised. This assembly offers a cost-effective way to prevent catastrophic failures and improve steering performance. You can expect tighter, quieter steering and a more responsive wheel, enhancing overall drivability. Replacing both the inner and outer tie rods as an assembly can also simplify the alignment process due to all components being new and properly set. This part is specifically designed to fit various BMW E30 models with M10 and M42 1.8L engines, as well as certain E30 models with M20 2.5L and 2.7L engines, and E36 models with M42 1.8L and M50 2.5L engines. Always verify fitment with the vehicle selector.
