The Flaming River Tilt Steering Column for 1965-1966 Mustangs integrates their Microsteer Electric Power Assisted Steering. The Microsteer unit and wiring are hidden behind the lower dash panel, ensuring a clean and classic interior appearance. This column provides easier steering for Mustangs equipped with either a manual steering box or a rack and pinion. The column is shipped assembled, with the Microsteer motor housing tucked behind the cluster and lower dash panel. Vehicles with an original long shaft Steering Box will require cutting for installation or an upgrade to Flaming River's FR1497-1Q 16:1 Quick Steer Short Shaft Steering Box. U-Joint is sold separately.
