Description

The ididit 1968 Mustang Tilt Floor Shift Based Steering Column is engineered as a direct replacement for your classic Mustang's original steering column. It features Ford-style wiring and a Ford top shaft, ensuring seamless integration. This specific rack version is constructed 1" shorter than standard columns to minimize the angle of the U-joint when used with your rack and pinion steering setup. A new, application-specific floor mount is included, ensuring a secure fit. The 1968 and 1969 models are fully collapsible for added safety and come complete with 4-way flashers. By adding your stock Mustang steering wheel, the gripping surface will be positioned identically to the original. Constructed from durable, paintable steel, this column is ready for customization to match your interior. It is specifically designed for the 1968 Ford Mustang equipped with rack and pinion steering.
