The G Force GF-MUT-6R80 Transmission Swap Block is a patent-pending tool designed to provide accurate transmission mounting and yoke positions during mock-up procedures. Its unique tab-and-slot design is lightweight and ships disassembled, making it convenient for shipping and storage. This single tool facilitates the accurate placement of an Ecoboost Style 6R80 transmission, which is found in Ford F-150s, Mustangs, and other vehicles from 2010-2020. The kit includes two bellhousing face plates, allowing for assembly as either an Ecoboost or a V8 6R80. This mock-up block can be easily positioned by hand, eliminating the need to manually maneuver a heavy transmission into place for fitment and fabrication tasks, such as creating a custom crossmember. This not only saves time and money but also enhances safety during the process. The durable steel construction is heat-resistant, allowing for custom crossmembers to be fabricated in close proximity to the block without damage, a significant advantage over foam mock-up blocks. Specifications for the GF-MUT-6R80 include a metal finish and a weight of 17 lbs. Shipping dimensions are 32 x 21 x 6 inches. Please note that mounting hardware is not included with this product.
