The Akrapovic Evolution Line Titanium Exhaust system is engineered to provide a deep, rumbling growl and significant weight reduction for BMW F85 X5 M and F86 X6 M models. Constructed from high-grade titanium, this lightweight material ensures exceptional durability and corrosion resistance compared to traditional stainless steel. The system includes newly developed dual-outlet mufflers with exhaust valves and flow-optimized pipes, directly fitting onto the stock downpipes. This exhaust system offers a noticeable performance increase, contributing +3.9 kW (5.3 hp) at 5400 RPM and +8.4 Nm (6.2 ft-lbs) of torque at 5250 RPM. A key benefit is the substantial weight savings, reducing the vehicle's overall weight by 14.8 kg (32.7 lbs), which represents a 42% reduction from the stock weight of 78.1 lbs. The design emphasizes an aggressive, deep exhaust note. For an even more intense sound, the optional Akrapovic Sound Kit can be added, featuring a wireless valve control to bypass the muffler. The exhaust system is CARB compliant and has ECE Type Approval. It is specifically designed for the BMW X Series F85 X5 M and F86 X6 M models from 2015-2018 with the S63 4.4L engine.
