Titanium Exhaust Wrap

The DEI Titanium Exhaust Wrap is constructed from pulverized lava rock, stranded into a fiber material and woven into a proprietary diagonal weave. The material offers high resistance to abrasions, chemical oil spills, and vibration breakdown, ensuring reliable performance. This exhaust wrap can withstand direct heat up to 1800°F and intermittent heat up to 2500°F. It is noted for promoting increased flow and reducing temperature and vibration breakdown, contributing to improved performance. Unlike some other wraps, it does not require pre-wetting for installation and DEI HT Silicone Coating is not necessary. The wrap offers a hi-tech carbon fiber look. It is important to note that wrapping catalytic converters is not recommended as it can reduce their lifespan due to overheating. The manufacturer suggests alternatives like Corvette Catalytic Converter Shields or Floor & Tunnel Shield II™ for such applications. Wrapping flex-pipes or flex-joints should also be avoided. Furthermore, DEI explicitly does not recommend wrapping exhausts made of titanium. For titanium exhaust systems, DEI suggests using flexible heat shields instead.
